About Us - The company - How it all began

Founded in 1946 under the management of Ing. Rudolf Seibt, the company engaged in developments in the fields of traffic engineering and public transportation.

In 1998 the company Kraemmer Autotechnik was created and achieved a name for itself in the field of vehicle optimisation. Recognising the signs of the times, the company investigated and found new drive propulsion mechanisms. The company iO - Vehicles was created under the management of Ing. Bernd Kraemmer with the explicit goal of developing an efficient, powerful, emission-free, and affordable vehicle. The first product of these developments ready for mass-production is the iO 1500GT Electro Scooter.
